True rest is possible in Him ... Monday mornings are usually a bit foggy for most, don't you think? Not necessarily due to the weather, but simply due to life - Getting up, focusing on the start of the week, and making the most of the day ahead is not always easy, we know!! 😏 In addition, busyness, stress, depression, illness, problems at work or school, and relationship struggles can sneak up like a cloud bearing down right in front of us, making it hard to see clearly. The reality is there is so much beauty right beneath that Monday morning fog and Christ is at the center of it all ... Mondays come with a clean slate, a fresh start, a feeling of hope and new opportunities!! As the thick fog gradually lifted on Judson Road this Monday morning and the sunlight shone through the snow-covered trees, we were reminded of a glimpse of those possibilities and that feeling of reassurance! We saw a NEW day filled with light, surrounded with God's love & truth ... And once again the fields, trees, and roads were visible. When we accept Christ into our lives, we also see how the worst fog was permanently lifted when He took all of our burdens to the cross and we can live with more clarity each day and experience the gifts of His peace and joy in our lives! Whether it's on a Monday morning or a Thursday evening, He is ALWAYS right there at the cusp of that cloud with open arms ready to take all that fog and uncertainty from your life ... Don't wait, go to Him today! ❤ Jesus said, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ~Matthew 11:28
